The George Washington Chapter, SAR and the Kate Waller Barrett Chapter, DAR will jointly honor all veterans by placing a wreath at the Tomb of General Washington, our first Commander-in-Chief.
This event will start promptly at 1:00 PM and will be completed by 1:30 PM.
SAR and DAR members are requested to register on-line to ensure free admittance and to tally the final head count to be reported to Mount Vernon. Registrants should enter Mount Vernon through the Purple Heart Gate (G2) and proceed to the Tomb.
